Week 36

Short term trends:
The indexes are in the short side but showing recuperation in the last days.


NQ and ES system:
The long closed last 28 in the QQQQ gave a profit of 1%. The short from that day finishes today and we will be long at the opening (new signal).

The ES system remains short.

Signal change

The previous short signal in the NQ system gave us another profit of 2.7%. and the system is giving today a short signal to reverse our long from 2 days ago.

This signal will be executed today at the opening.

Short term trend:
The indexes are mixed now, QQQQ and SPY in the short while Russel still long.



NQ and ES system:

We had another winner signal, see previous post, closing the long in the QQQQ for a 4.8% profit.

Both signals still short.

Short term trend:

All the indexes in the long side.


NQ & ES system:

First, a pending update in P&L: the last short QQQQ signal ended up with 5.9% profit.

The ES system (SPY) is still short, while the NQ is giving a short signal to be executed today at the opening

Only S&P moved to the long side.

There is not too much change since our last report, all indexes in the short side, although some improvement is shown. May be a long signal next week ?

NQ long from Apr 28 to May 23= 1.9%

SPY long from May 7 to May 23= -2% (loss)

NQ & ES system:

Both remain in short. It is pending to report the P&L of the last signal.

Both NQ and ES system are switching to short today.

Week 19

Short terms trends:

All indexes long.


NQ and ES systems:

First an update of the pending P&L.

In the QQQQ we had 11.7% profit in the long from 3/11 to 4/22 and a loss of 1.1% in the short from 4/22 to 4/28. the system is still long.

In the SPY we had 5.7% profit in the long from 3/11 to 4/22. The system is closing the short from 4/22 and switching today to long.

NQ system switching to long, ES system still short.

Week 17

Short term trend:

The indexes moved to the long side.



NQ and ES systems:

Both switching to short to be executed today at the opening. Tomorrow we'll post P&L of current long signal.

The week is finishing with a recovery of the index but notice that they are still in the short side.




NQ and ES system:

No changes, both longs.

Still in the short side, only QQQQ barely moved to the long.

Both remain in long signal.

P&L update

The result of last short signal, both in NQ and SPY, was 5.7% and 3.7% respectively.

No changes in short term trends (still in the short side) neither in our systems, NQ and SPY, both are short.
